Jump-Start Your Mindfulness

The 3-week introductory program is NOT meant to be a comprehensive Mindfulness training.

Jump-Start is intended to guide you beyond that initial barrier of inertia that stalls our best intentions at the starting line. We will plant seeds and build infrastructure, starting with simple focused attention. That could be the core of a vibrant and rewarding practice for years. It was for me.


As we build our everyday practice (yes, there is “homework”) we learn to broaden and strengthen our attention. We will examine the distractions and obstacles that not only come up in our Mindfulness practice, but in our everyday life experiences. We will provide tools and techniques for working with these hindrances.

No experience is necessary. Attendees will work with other live beings, NOT on a screen, to start a lifelong deepening of connection, understanding and awareness.

This series might also be useful to those who have previously explored Mindfulness, but fell out of practice and are looking to return. Building a Mindfulness practice is a marathon, not a sprint. The important thing is to keep starting over again.

Emphasis is put on learning to be kind to, and even embrace, the wandering mind while developing a self-sustaining mindfulness practice inviting curiosity, compassion and clarity.
